I was vassal to the swadian butter king and we wiped the rhodoks and viegirs. I then was made marshall and fought the nords. As marshal, i requested every castle i took until i was refused.
Once i was refused a castle i was given the prompt to revolt, thus creating my own kingdom. Took roughly 1100 days playing. The kingdom of nords is one of the factions within the mount&blade series.

When i first started playing mount and blade warband i stuck with the swadians most of the time as i believed they were a very well balanced faction with decent top teir troops. However when i started to get better at warband i quickly found out that other nations are much more effective than the swadians for instance troops like the vagir. How did the nords grab territory from such a distance?
