Final Cut Zoom Timeline Shortcut

Treepad lite ↑ shift. Zoom in to the timeline until you see a portion of the project only. Do one of the following:

Drag the scroll bar at the bottom of the timeline left or right. Drag the scroll bar at the right side of the timeline up or down. Hide final cut pro.

Hide all applications except final cut pro. Zoom the contents to fit the size of the browser, viewer, or timeline. Turn zooming in to audio samples on or off.

I then use \ to zoom out in one step. Not sure if this will do the trick but there is a zoom to frame that you can map in your keyboard shortcuts. Timeline zoom does not affect or control that.

You can see the zoom controls are inside the window for timeline: It only controls that. There is no way to change the zoom for the time ruler of the source player, i set it to cut.

Change the clip speed to 0. 25x (or slower). This will update the time line and give you far greater zoom. When done, return the clip speed to normal.

Keno40 july 10, 2017, 10:12am #11. On windows, hold down the ctrl key and press the plus key as many times as you need to zoom in. To zoom out hold down the ctrl key and press the minus key as many times as you need to zoom out.

These are the plus and minus keys on the keyboard to the right of the number and symbol keys. This works only in the edit and fairlight pages. Fortunately, you can do this quite quickly with just a couple of shortcuts.

To zoom in to a section of the timeline in avid media composer: Drag the cursor over the section you want to expand, and upon release of the mouse, that section of the timeline is displayed. Use davinci resolve shortcut keys to fit your timeline to the size of your window, quickly zooming out to reveal the full timeline and zoom back in to the de.

In response to bens88590905. Not sure if this will do the trick but there is a zoom to frame that you can map in your keyboard shortcuts. I have it set to option+\ so that way i can quickly toggle in and out where ever my cti (play head) is.

Control + cmd + 1. Toggle library and browser display on or off. Control + cmd + 3.

Toggle event viewer open/closed. Toggle skimming on or off. Select a group of clips, and then press shift + option + z to zoom into just that region of the timeline.
