Tell gruntilda and they die, or finish the quest war of the stones and they kill each other. Of course, if you don't do either of those things then they'll just sit there until the end of the game, #2. Find almira in a ruined house in paradise downs, and agree to either escort the couple to safety, or to kill the harbinger of doom for her.
The harbinger is located in the northeast corner of the map. Kill it and the zombified magisters, then report back to almira. You can let almira kiss you to give you more source.
